POZANC SHOOTING RANGE Pistol Bays Closed For The Following Activities:
WSC Pistol Practice Group - Every Tuesday from Mid April to Mid September
Ranges #1 thru #5 Reserved after 4:00 pm
Rim-fire League - Every Thursday from May through September
Range #1 Reserved after 4:00 pm for Sporter Shoot
Range #1 & #2 Reserved after 4:00 pm for Steel Shoot
WSC PISTOL PRACTICE GROUP - 2025 season starts April 15th.
These practice shoots are based upon Practical Competition Shooting League rules Level 0.
Courses of fire include both cardboard silhouette and falling steel popper targets. We have a Texas Star Steel Plate wheel and also a Drop-Turner and Snapper Action Target with pressure plate foot activator.
These practice shoots are great for anyone that wants to become more proficient in shooting PCSL events or simply to keep yourself proficient with your firearm for self-defense, etc.
Show up any time after 4:00 pm to help setup stages, the help is always appreciated!
Show up before 5:00 pm to help setup stages, and WSC members receive a discount. See below.
Equipment: Pistol minimum caliber 9mm to 45ACP | 150 rounds of ammo typical **See Blog** | Magazines 2-5 that hold approximately 35-40 total rounds | Mag pouches | OWB holster | Sturdy belt | Shoes closed toe | Eye & Hearing Protection.
If you don't have all of this equipment for your first time ... no problem! Come and learn more or just observe.
Cost: WSC Member = $10.00 and if with Family members add $5.00 each (Spouse + Children <18 yrs)
Cost: Non-Member = $10.00 per person
Cost: First Time Shooter = $0.00 Free
WSC Members that arrive before 5:00 pm to help setup stages will pay half price.
This is to cover the cost of cardboard targets and wear-n-tear on our steel targets / props.
Who Can Participate: Anyone! As long as you are capable of safely controlling your own firearm, you can shoot. Those under 18 are welcome with a parent or guardian present on the range.
Setup @ 4:00 pm - Sign-In @ 5:45 pm - Shoot @ 6:00 pm.
